Short-Term Running Goals:
Cross trained on the eliptical for 1:10
Legs felt sore...but good not to do the pounding of running. More ice and compression.
Muddled through 9 miles on treadmill - 0% grade.
Tired of running with hurt legs. They loosened up after a rough start. But still....
More ice and compression sleeves...
9 miles - Conoco Loop
Out in 36:25; back in 36:24
Felt like I was running fast, but was not.
Legs very painful at beginning...loosened up a bit. Still sore.
9 miles on treadmill - 1% grade
2 miles at 7.5mph
2 miles at 7.6mph
2 miles at 7.7mph
2 miles at 7.8 mph
1 mile at 7.5 mph
leg felt better. a little better...optimistic!
Kenosha Road loop - 6.5 in 50:31...very tired! tough run...doesn't feel like I have any speed/strength
Ran to Boulder:
Out in 1:24:52
Back in 1:21:45
Very hard run. Legs still not right. Doesn't feel like I have any power. Can't run fast.
